Ballestas Islands and Huacachina SandDunes in a Full Day from Lima (for 2 travelers)

Alfredo is a wonderful guide! He is knowledgeable, thoughtful, and well-organized. The tour to Bellestas Islands on the small tourist boat is fun and the Paracas Reserve is unique and mesmerizing. Also, Alfredo pointed out sites of interest or of historical significance during the drive; also the driver was great and had a comfortable and clean car. We also hired Alfredo to tour Lima, and again we were impressed with his knowledge of history and culture. Alfredo clearly wanted to ensure that we had an excellent experience; he even arranged for drivers to take us to and from the airport! The drivers were prompt, polite, drove clean and comfortable cars, and were reasonably priced. We highly recommend Alfredo!

This was an excellent tour out of Lima. We started with breakfast along the shore before the boat ride around the islands, seeing penguins and the hillside designs. Alfredo followed up with a beach walk and then the desert in the park. His explanations at the cultural museum helped us to understand the artifacts there and in museums in Ecuador and Peru. It's amazing scenery. We also enjoyed Pisco tasting and our dune buggy ride across the sands! Great driver also. We definitely recommend this tour!

A long but very rewarding and diverse day with Alfredo and driver Carlos. Got to Paracas in 3 hours. Alfredo provided historical and local information as we drove. After breakfast, a 40 seat speed boat to Ballestas islands to see dolphins, sea lions, sea birds and Humboldt Penguins. Toured the museum and beaches at the Paracas reserve and at Ica toured a Pisco winery and had lunch. At Haucachina oasis road up the dunes in a 10 person dune buggy. Sand boarded lying down. Back at 8:30. Happy and very tired.

Alfredo and carlos (driver) were an excellent team that couldn't do more to make my tour a success. They were professional, courteous and personable, all qualities tht i value when usong tours by local.

A very comfortable long distance trip of 20 hours , car was comfortable and driver safe and professional . Alfred the guide has been attentive , entertaining and knowledgeable . Throughout the trip maintained flexibility to cater for our changing of plans :) A memorable trip to places outside Lima .

I am so glad that we went on this tour. I will admit the early departure time almost scared me away, but seeing a completely different side of Peru than the city was amazing. The nature reserve and the boat trip to the islands was spectacular and the sand boarding and sand buggy trip was exhilarating! Alfredo even catered some off road ATV experience for us in Paracas which was also great. If you have an extra day in Lima, it is well worth the effort and time to see Pisco, Paracas and Ica!
