My name is Lene, I'm 60 years old and born in Oslo. I'm educated as an engineer with a degree within economics, and got my diploma as an Authorized Oslo Guide in the year 2000. I have worked with tourists for 26 years now, and my favorite tours are the customized ones. I love to show my city and the sorrundings from all different angles - through history and storytelling, foodtasting, museums and streetart, crime- and ghostwalks, and everything that has to do with nature (walks, hikes and bicycle tours). I'm passionate about my work, and love getting in contact with people from all over the world. I like to tell the history in my way, sharing personal stories from my own life and my parents / grandparents life (I'm the 3.generation from Oslo). Funny or horrible stories are also a part of it, so that you maybe remember something when you come home... :) In Norway you need a professional driver license to drive guests for payment. My tours are therefor either by public transportation, foot or bike, or we can hire a car with a driver.

Overview of your Oslo tour
This is one of my favourite tours; I highly recommend it! We start with 25min onboard the very popular ferry that carry tourists and locals between the city and the peninsula Nesodden every day. Once we arrive on the other side of the bay we immediately start our hike along the coastpath on the east side of the Oslo fiord, with beautiful scenary the whole way. On our way back to Oslo it's possible to make a stop for lunch or dinner at the very popular Signalen restaurant that is almost situated in the water at the pier of the ferry.
Your Oslo tour itinerary
The day includes: * The comfortable ferry ride on Nesoddbåten - 25minutes two times (back and forth to Oslo). You can enjoy the view from the inside or from deck * A beautiful hike along the coastwalk, with ups & downs (hills and steps) on the west side of the penninsula * Historytelling and small local snack along the way * Possibility for a visit to the Signalen restaurant before returning to Oslo
