Navigate a mangrove channel, visit a tranquil cenote, and tour a bee farm to have local honey tasting. We start our morning in Motul with an authentic Motuleño breakfast at the legendary local market. We'll head straight to Doña Evelia's stall to savor the authentic Huevos Motuleños, a culinary icon born here in the 1920s. Then, we'll travel to the fishing village of San Crisanto, where we'll board a non-motorized boat that will take us through a lush mangrove channel through a secluded haven of peace. For a better safari experience you can request departing at dawn. Later, we'll immerse ourselves in the world of the sacred Melipona bee. Explore themed cabins that detail the historical production of honey in the Yucatan, visit a working meliponary, and make your own natural beeswax candle as a tribute to these wonderful stingless bees. We will end this visit with a pleasant honey tasting.
