Highlights of Merida and its cemetery, Private Tour

Raul is very punctual and knowledgeable He is very friendly and speaks great English Just a great guide!!

Did 2 prior trips with Raul before spending 14 days in the Yucatan. The last day Raul met me again for the final farewell of what I consider as a great friend. We spent the time in Merida and ended up our farewell treating Raul to a meal at one of the nice restaurants in the city. I would love to go back to visit with Raul again and see more. The Yucatan is a great place to visit.

Raul is the most personable, professional and friendly guide you will find (and a good driver too!). He helped us tailor this tour prior to us travelling and was completely flexible on the day when the heat / humidity was wearing us out. We were thankful for the gelato shop stop and that he had a vehicle to drive part of the way. Mérida is such a gorgeous town to explore, and it was made even more special when we had someone local to give it depth and perspective. Thank you Raul :)

This tour was unbelievable! Raul G. was amazing and I highly recommend him!  He was a great communicator and kept me in the loop the whole process. Raúl was a fantastic guide! He was super patient, attentive to every request, and helped us craft a truly memorable three-day trip in Yucatán. His deep knowledge, professionalism, and warm personality made all the difference, and it’s clear he has a wealth of experience. On our first day, we explored Mérida’s highlights by walking and driving, and Raúl ensured we didn’t miss anything while bringing the city’s history and culture to life with fascinating context. Our group included two teenagers and three women, one of whom was very nervous about iguanas. Raúl was thoughtful and reassuring, making sure everyone felt comfortable and safe. His kindness and skill in handling different needs made our days smooth, engaging, and enjoyable for us all. We couldn’t have asked for a better start to our trip!

Merida is a beautiful city and Raul was the perfect guide. We had such a lovely time seeing the things that make Merida so special. We have a family member who has a disability and he was very accommodating and flexible.
