This review is from my daughter whom I booked the tour for: I would đŻ recommend Carlo for ANY tour he does! My husband, sister and brother-in-law were on our joint honeymoon and we had THE best tour with Carlo! Not only was he exceptional knowledgeable about the Vatican (and very prepared with reference materials for us to look at), but he was SO passionate about it as well which made the tour even more exciting! I tore my meniscus 3 weeks before left making my movements slower than normal and he was wonderful pacing us where i wasn't overworking my knee, finding the routes with less steep steps, etc. We learned a lot and really enjoyed our time at the Vatican! He made finding him easy and gave us our space and time when we were in the Sistine Chapel so we could really soak it all in. I would not hesitate to recommend this wonderful guide for your tour of the Vatican !

Carlo was absolutely exceptional! My husband and I were in Rome for the first time for our honeymoon and we had never done a tour, or anything like it. Our experience with Carlo exceeded our expectations! He is incredibly friendly and personable, and made us feel at ease immediately. Not only is he clearly an expert about - what seemed like - ALL of Roman history, but his passion for the subject is obvious. This, plus his natural story telling ability kept us so engaged as he guided us through the Vatican. My husband is not much of a history buff, but Carlo's tour style definitely captivated him. Will be requesting Carlo for any future tours by local tours that we take in the future!
