We will follow a carefully planned route through the Museums, visiting the most famous rooms as the Sistine Chapel and the Raphael Rooms plus a wide variety of galleries full of ancient sculptures, tapestries, medieval maps, paintings and precious relics. I will share with you all the stories behind the masterpieces. What did put Michelangelo in front of that wall? Was he happy about it?
The Vatican is definitely on top of the must to be seen places when you get to Rome. It is the world's smallest country but it is literally filled up with treasures which would require weeks to be seen. This is why it is very important to have a guide who makes a selection of things to see, but also to suggest the best time to visit it. I always suggest the early start because your effort will be fully rewarded when you'll admire the Sistine Chapel less crowded than usual.
