Hello everyone, and thank you for taking a look at my profile! I am an Art Historian, postgraduated at the University "La Sapienza" of Rome. I also obtained a master's degree in Conservation and Restoration at the University "Gregoriana" in Rome. I became a licensed guide of Rome and of the Vatican Museums in 2001. I have also spent some time abroad to improve my language skills. I love both modern and ancient art and archaeology so for me it is not tiring to learn new things that I can later share with travellers! I enjoy art in all its forms, e. g. theatre and ballet, which I practice during my free time. I am in love with my city and its characteristic alleys, where I wander to explore and find secret corners I can take travellers to! My favorite places are Saint Angelo's Castle, where you can feel a marvelous medieval atmosphere, and the Pantheon, the monument symbol of the Imperial Rome. Amazing tour on a very hot day. Guide was very helpful with one of our party who felt unwell and took him back to the hotel. The Vatican visit was amazing with plenty of time to wander.
Claudia was amazing, I only had one free day in Rome and she made it worthwhile. She shared so much knowledge and interesting facts; it was quite a fun day. Plus, she knows all the best spots for pictures! We did the colosseum, roman forum, the vatican, sistine chapel, st. peter's basilica/square and trevi.
Claudia was the greatest she is super knowledgeable and knows the deep details of all the history of any part of Rome that you can imagine. She really made our trip to Rome a fantastic experience she was very accommodating taking pictures of us. When there was more time to spend at one stop she made sure we spent it Claudia was not ever short with words again her knowledge was amazing !! I would give her 10 stars as a review don't hesitate in having Claudia as your private tour guide worth every penny !!
Claudia was excellent! Super chipper and friendly, and found a way to make the tour interesting for everyone in our group (from my 11 year-old son all the way up to my 70+ year-old mother and father in law). She was conscious of the heat and gave needed breaks, as well as found shade when possible. Claudia knew her content and was able to provide us with an unforgettable tour. I would highly recommend!
Claudia was worth every penny that we paid her! She got us around the crowded museums and churches with ease, knowing exactly which way to go to avoid the crowds. She took to all of the best view points and knew exactly which parts of the history to share without it being overwhelming. Her pick for lunch was delicious. Having a driver that knew exactly where to go was also a plus. Book Claudia if you can!
