Hi, I'm Dario. If you're looking for a tour guide don't go any further because you've found the right local to live an experience in Naples and its surroundings. I live in Naples. I was born here and after a long experience in tourism and traveling I became a licensed tour guide. It isn't enough just to have a license, it is necessary to have a deep passion for this job. Among several experiences I made along my career I want to tell you about an emblematic one. One day I was working and a stranger stopped and asked me: "Are you a tour guide"? I answered: "Yes I am". Then he said: "Remember that all the travellers will see our land through your eyes". Since that moment my mission became to give all of my clients the possibility to see, read, feel and understand the beauty of my land. Many foreign people think that Naples and its surroundings are only Pizza and mandolins, but they are so much more than this. The gulf of Naples was civilized around 3000 thousand years ago, it is a marvellous and complex mix of history, art, architecture, culture, nature, traditions and humanity. That's why if you want to have an idea of my country, I suggest you take one of my tours. Following the Neapolitan tradition, I will welcome you and make you feel at home. My purpose is taking you to discover my country, so that it can give you a memorable life experience. About me: I graduated in economics and high school in tourism reception. Along my education I always cultivated my great interest for art, history and archeology as Naples is very rich on this point of view, I am still studying them. I have acquired many job experiences in hotels, tour operator, travel agency and cruises. My passion is to travel. Thanks to my job on the cruise as the Tour Manager assistant I visited most of the Mediterranean countries. In Europe I visited many important capitals such as Madrid, Lisbon, London, Amsterdam, Paris and Prague. I lived in Great Britain for a year and in South America for several years. I travelled to Venezuela, Brazil, Colombia, Cuba and Trinidad and Tobago. I speak fluent English and Spanish, both languages with level C2 international certification. I am not a driver. I can arrange for a separate car and driver.

The greatness of the Roman empire is still visible today for the most representative monument ever built: The Coliseum. This magnificent building was the beating heart of the Roman empire where the strong gladiators fought to reach the eternal glory of Rome. In this enormous amphitheatre the Romans assisted the greatest shows ever done until that time. You will be there as a spectator of this incredible place as the Romans did 2000 years ago. From Rome you will reach Pompeii which was a rich city of the Roman Empire. It was destroyed by the Vesuvius eruption in 79 A D and for this terrible event Pompeii remained buried for centuries. Generations of archaeologists, restoration teams and workers did an extraordinary job thanks to which nowadays we can see this entire and unique ancient city. There you walk on the original streets, see shops, rich houses and temples with their amazing and sophisticated mosaics, paintings and decorations. This experience will make you feel like you’ve stepped back to Roman times.
