Hello everyone, and thank you for taking a look at my profile! I am an Art Historian, postgraduated at the University "La Sapienza" of Rome. I also obtained a master's degree in Conservation and Restoration at the University "Gregoriana" in Rome. I became a licensed guide of Rome and of the Vatican Museums in 2001. I have also spent some time abroad to improve my language skills. I love both modern and ancient art and archaeology so for me it is not tiring to learn new things that I can later share with travellers! I enjoy art in all its forms, e. g. theatre and ballet, which I practice during my free time. I am in love with my city and its characteristic alleys, where I wander to explore and find secret corners I can take travellers to! My favorite places are Saint Angelo's Castle, where you can feel a marvelous medieval atmosphere, and the Pantheon, the monument symbol of the Imperial Rome. I like to tour with families with kids and small groups, but don't worry, I am able to fit a larger group too, so feel free to contact me for a customized tour that can meet all your requests and desires! Please do not hesitate to contact me for any information you may need about my beloved Eternal City! Licensed Tour Guide of Rome and the Vatican since 2001. Postgraduated at the University "La Sapienza" of Rome. Master's Degree in Conservation and Restoration at the University "Gregoriana" in Rome. According to Italian laws, I'm able to guide you inside museums, archaeological areas, cities and any sites. I'm not a licensed driver. For tours including private transportation, my trusted professional driver will be at your disposal.

On this tour I'll guide you through one of the most historically and culturally amazing places on Earth, the origin and starting point for understanding the past and the present Europe. Rome, as a millenium-long centre of power, culture (having been the cradle of one of the globe's greatest civilisations ever) and religion, has exerted a huge influence over the world in its roughly 2800 years of existence. I was born and raised in Rome, and as a professional Art Historian I'll lead you trough the best and most important corners of the city, that will exemplify the historical and artistic path from the Renaissance to Baroque period. The historic centre of the city is a UNESCO World Heritage site. With wonderful palaces, millennium-old churches, grand romantic ruins, opulent monuments, ornate statues and graceful fountains, Rome has an immensely rich historical heritage and cosmopolitan atmosphere, making it one of Europe's and the world's most visited, famous, influential and beautiful capital.
