Hi there! I'm Barbara, born and raised in Rome, just a few feet from the Vatican City, I love to travel the world and explore different cultures! With a degree in Architecture and a master degree in Historical Building Restoration, I have been studying architecture and art history for all my life, working for several years to the restoration of some of the most prestigious palaces in Rome. I decided to become a Tour Guide to share my lifetime experience in Rome with people from all over the world. I'm really proud to unravel the amazing stories hidden behind every alley and square of the Eternal city, bring back to life the outstanding Roman ruins, show the masterpieces made by the most important artists working for the powerful Popes and communicate my passion and true love for my Hometown, like only locals can do! All of my tours are private and can be tailored according to you interests and wishes, so just give me the details and I will create the perfect tour just for you! I hope to welcome you soon to Rome. . . A presto! From March 7th to July 6th, 24 autographed masterpieces from all over the world are on display at Palazzo Barberini for the return to Rome of the most beloved painter of all time! Among them is the controversial Ecce Homo, found by chance in Madrid and about to be sold as an "unknown master"... it is the most anticipated exhibition of the year, dedicated to the most famous painter of the Baroque, the "bad boy" Caravaggio. An unmissable opportunity to see all these masterpieces in the same place... . For those who are a true Caravaggio enthusiast, this is an unmissable exhibition, without a doubt the most important in recent years!
- Palazzo Barberini Caravaggio 2025 exhibition *if you have mobility issues, let me know so I can better organize our tour ** if you also want to see Palazzo Barberini and its unparalleled Gallery, let me know (it will take another 2 hours and the integrated ticket that also includes the visit to the Gallery)
