Vinci and Leonardo full day tour

Vinci is not only the great Leonardo's surname but the name of the little village on top of an enchanting hill, 44 kilometres from Florence on the way to Pisa/Livorno, where he was born in 1452. The landascape is amazing around the village of Vinci: we are totally surrounded by green hills of olive groves, vineyards, forests and cypresses. The village itself is enchanting, well looked after with lots of flowers. We can combine this half-day visit with another half-day including, for example, San Miniato, with its legendary white truffles, in the province of Pisa and very near Vinci. We can also combine a half day in Pisa with its leaning tower. Alternatively, we could sample some of the area's fine products such as the wine from the Montalbano hills and the extra-virgin olive oil, with some local snacks.
