One full day private tour to the Tuscan Hills and its History
Overview of your Livorno tour
SCENERY ! What a great way to see Tuscany as we drive up, over and along the hills, passing the birth place of Andrea Bocelli, seeing the theatre where he entertains thousands of people from all over the world. We will drive up to the plateau where Volterra sits to be guided through this magical Etruscan , Roman and Medieval city. This is where Tuscan salt comes from, also Alabaster is worked here and we can meet artisans of alabaster. You will be suprised at the quantity of history in one town. This is a photographers paradise. After that we will drive 30 minute trough the Tuscan hills and we will arrive at the organic farmof VERNACCIA (typical white wine from San Gimignano and CHIANTI wine) and we will have a light lunch and you will drink their wines. (shame . . I'm the driver) after lunch we will stop at SAN GIMIGNANO, the most popular medieval town in Tuscany. We will have time to have the "best Ice cream in the world" stopping at "Gelateria Dondoli", finishing off with this delicacy befor heading back.
