Snaefellsnes Peninsula - full day tour

Sigga was one of the best tour guides ever! We thoroughly enjoyed both tours we went on. The other tour was the Golden Ciircle. She was extremely knowledge and had interesting information to impart. The food stops we made were most enjoyable! How did she know we love waffles and ice cream! She brought sunny days with her also. She gets a 10+ rating!

What a beautiful day spent with Sigga! She was responsive, professional, and so knowledgeable about the area that we visited. Sigga is also incredibly warm and friendly - she puts you at ease right away. It's like spending the day with an old friend. As for the tour itself, the towns were picturesque, the landscape was breathtaking, and we are so glad we decided to do this tour. Such awesome memories. Thank you, Sigga!

We toured Iceland for three days with Sigga. What an amazing time! She personalized the experiences for us—four adults and two kids (ages 7 and 12)—and curated our experiences over three days. We'll be talking about soaking in the natural hot spring on the Snaefellsnes Peninsula for years to come! We loved Sigga's personal stories and informative discussions at all the sites. She's also a great photo taker—this will be one of our best documented family trips ever! Sigga went above and beyond every day!

Our second day with Sigga after doing the Golden Circle (which was also wonderful). Sigga was a excellent tour guide. She is personable, friendly, and a lovely person to spend the day in a car with. She told fascinating stories about both the sites we visited as well as more general stories about Iceland, its history, and its culture. One example of the value of a guide like Sigga: We stopped by a small fishing village and other visitors left the parking lot along a main trail to an overlook. Sigga took us a different route saying we would get better photos that direction. And we did, including close ups of the fishing boats coming back into the harbor. Sigga has true insider knowledge that she does a great job sharing. Five stars.

This was a beautiful tour, and much less crowded than the Golden Circle (which is also worth doing, however). Sigga knows all the best spots and showed us gorgeous places, even pointing out the best places to stand for views and photos. We loved the waterfalls and the black lava-pebble beach and it was just wonderful to get to walk there. The children in particular also really enjoyed seeing the seals sunning themselves. Sigga also took us to a lovely little cafe for lunch, which we wouldn't have found on our own. What's great about Sigga is that she is knowledgeable and willing to share her knowledgeable, but also warm and fun to be with. She also makes a great effort to adjust the tour to your abilities and interests; for example, she stopped several times so the children could see Icelandic horses, and she also found places where our less mobile family member could rest.

Sigga is just a wonderful tour guide/partner. After the first hour, it was clear that Sigga was not only going to be our guide but would also be my partner. I was traveling with my mother (age 83); my godmother (age 87) and my niece (age 27) and hoping to make this a wonderful experience for all. Sigga was able to seamlessly help me navigate this and ensure the trip's success quickly adjusting plans as needed due to weather or varying abilities and with genuine warmth and kindness that was felt by all.
