The Golden circle route is absolutely the - must - do tour when in Iceland! - I can provide transport for larger groups than 4 persons - please ask. The Golden circle route is steeped in history, geology, geography and scenic beauty. You won't regret hiring me to show you around this amazing route in comfort and style. Gullfoss waterfall is the most iconic waterfall in the country for a good reason, Strokkur spouting spring is one of very few spouting springs in the world, and Thingvellir national park is on the UNESCO world heritage site list because of its Viking Age-heritage. It is also the place of the rift valley between two continents, i. e. the American and the Eurasian. This version of the Golden circle tour includes time for lunch along the way, for example the famous and unique Fridheimar tomato greenhouse restaurant.
Best guide in the land - and of course beautiful sites. We did total of two tours, this and the South Coast. Both are a must. Stefan is personable, great expert in his craft, great communicator, prompt, and a wonderful human being.
Stefan makes your day happy … he has a wonderful personality, extremely knowledgeable, well organized and perceptive to all our needs. Our tour was challenged by rain but he helped us work around and thru it to make the tour a great success. I highly recommend Stefan and this tour.
What an amazing experience. Iceland is stunning but to see it and hear about it then there is no better way than having Stefan as your guide. Easy to communicate with , knowledgeable and treated us both to a memorable experience. We will Come back for the Aurora / Northern lights but only if we can book Stefan.
Stefan was great and very knowledgeable. He arranged our Blue Lagoon tickets and time for us as well as a reservation for lunch. He let us travel at our pace and made some additional stops at our request. Picked us up at the cruise terminal and dropped us at our hotel. Very accommodating and would recommend highly.
Stefan was an excellent tour guide. We highly recommend him and this tour. We also booked the South Coast tour with Stefan. It was also a 5 star experience. Stefan is very personable, knowledgeable, and professional. The two tours with Stefan were the highlights of our trip to Iceland!
Stefan was an excellent guide! He was very communicative from booking to the day of our tour and beyond. He shares lots of history and stories about the beautiful country of Iceland, with plenty of humor mixed in! The lunch was a truly amazing (and delicious) addition to our day. We ended our day of touring at The Blue Lagoon for a soak in the hot springs. It was a great first day in Iceland prior to boarding our cruise ship.
Depart Reykjavik for the Golden circle route. Visit Thingvellir national park the site of the ancient Viking-Age parliament and rift valley between two continents. Then head over to Gullfoss (Golden waterfall) the most iconic waterfall in the country before visiting the Geysir geothermal area and Strokkur spouting spring. Bathrooms and refreshments available in various places along this route. This is a tried and tested route and never disappoints. Having a guide like myself at your side will make your experience along this route so much better. The Golden circle tour is a relatively short but rewarding day tour. If you'd like to extend it to include airport transfer, Blue lagoon visit, city tour or even the south coast of Iceland in one day - Please ask.
