My name is Bjorn and I was born and raised in Iceland, and I know my country well by experience. I am a Certified Guide and I have a passion for traveling and I use every chance I get to travel whether it's in Iceland or abroad. I'm a friendly and outgoing person and I love meeting and talking to people. I live in Reykjavik with my family and I've lived in the Reykjavik area my whole life, which I love but I take every chance I get to travel to the countryside and enjoy the nature with my camera in hand. I am an amateur photographer and I don't think I could be luckier with a country to live in since everywhere you look is a photo waiting to be taking. It's a photographer's paradise. Experiencing Iceland with a local guide truly is a great way to get the most out of your adventure. I drive an Audi Q7 e-tron which offers great comfort for up to 4 passengers or a Toyota Proace Verso that suits up to 7 passengers. Going with a professional driver who knows his country and conditions well is a good way to travel since weather conditions in Iceland in the winter time can be harsh and unpredictable. Iceland truly is an amazing and fascinating country with breathtaking scenery and untouched nature and I want you to enjoy it to the fullest and have a save and the most authentic experience as possible. During my university studies I did an exchange year in Vienna, Austria and there I made a lot of friends from all over the world. I've been lucky enough to have some of them visit me here in Iceland and it was then when I discovered my passion for introducing Iceland to visitors. It is a privilege for me to be an Iceland guide and it is very important to me to make your Iceland trip unique and unforgettable. I am flexible and I listen to your wishes and if you have any special interests or hobbies I will do anything I can to accommodate it and incorporate it to your tour. I look forward to welcoming and showing you Iceland! - Certified Guide. - Licensed Professional driver. - First aid course. - Fully licensed vehicle by the Icelandic Transport Authority. - Owner of Cool Travel Iceland, a Fully licensed DMC/Travel Agency by the Icelandic Tourist Board. - BSc Degree in Business from Bifrost University.

Come with me on a private tour and experience some of Iceland's most popular nature sights in this amazing area that has so much to offer. I am particularly fond of the area since my family has a country house there and I spend a lot of time there with them. I have been doing this tour for number of years and I never get tired of experiencing it with my guests. The Golden Circle is the most visited area in Iceland and there is a good reason for it. In one day you get to see Waterfalls, Geyser's and a National Park where you walk between two continents and more. You will witness the iconic waterfall Gullfoss, Geysir the famous hot spring that spouts water 100 ft up in the air every few minutes and the national park of Thingvellir where the first parliament in the world was founded and the tectonic plates meet and divide the continents of Europe and America. This tour is truly a must when visiting Iceland.
- Gullfoss Waterfall. We will get out of the car and after only a few steps you can witness the power of the waterfall and take in its beauty. - Icelandic horse at a close range. We park close to the horses and you can have a chance to meet them at a close range and even feed them some treats if you feel like it. - Geysir hot spring area. We will park the car and walk around the geothermal area. The highlight for most is when Strokkur, Geysirs small brother sprouts boiling hot water up in the air. - The Secret lagoon. - Þingvellir National Park. This is the tour's longest stop and where the most walking takes place. In the summertime and when accessible in winter we will take a short hike up to Oxararfoss waterfall. We will then continue on and see the world's first parliament. From there you will continue walking between the two continents up to a viewing platform and a parking lot where we will finish the tour and head back to Reykjavik. The tours can be adjusted and customisable to your needs and wishes.
