Welcome! Yes, you read that right - Daniela. Not the most typical Croatian name, I know 😄 My mom loved Italian soap operas… and the name stayed. Before anything else - I currently offer more than 20 different tours, but many guests prefer something more personal. I’m always happy to design a fully custom itinerary based on your interests, travel style and schedule. If you send me a message or email, I usually respond very quickly and can prepare a personalized plan within one day. Despite the Italian-sounding name, my family’s roots in Croatia go back more than 300 years (as far as we know). Dalmatia isn’t just where I work, it’s where my story truly begins. My name is Daniela, a licensed local guide based in Split with more than 10 years of guiding experience, and I’m genuinely happy you found my page. I also hold a Master’s degree in Tourism, which helps me combine professional planning with real local knowledge and experience. Guiding is not just my job; it’s something I’ve been living every day for years. I created these tours so guests can experience Dalmatia the way locals actually do - not only by seeing famous landmarks, but by understanding the stories, traditions and everyday life behind them. Every traveler is different, and I don’t believe in one standard tour for everyone. I adapt each experience to your interests and pace, whether you enjoy history, culture, food, nature, or simply a relaxed day exploring. My goal is for you to feel comfortable, ask questions freely and leave with a real connection to the places you visit. I take care of all the details: organization, timing, reservations, recommendations and those small local tips you would normally never find on your own. You can relax and enjoy, knowing everything is thoughtfully planned and handled with care. Many of my guests say the best part of their trip is not only what they saw, but how they experienced it. From ancient ruins and coastal towns to local homes and family traditions, I want you to feel welcomed — not like a tourist, but like a guest. I truly believe travel is about people and shared experiences. Everyone is welcome, and I do my best to create a warm, friendly atmosphere where you can feel at ease and enjoy your time in Croatia. If you choose to explore with me, I will make sure your visit becomes one of your favorite travel memories. I look forward to meeting you in Dalmatia!
