She was very knowledgeable and made our one day stay in Venice very enjoyable and so much more efficient. We saw much more than we ever would have doing it on our own or in a group tour. We had an exceptional day touring Dubrovnik with Marijana S. Hearing about the history of Croatia and seeing the beautiful country side as well as the old town is a day we will all remember. The view from the drive up Stdj road is just spectacular. We loved walking the old streets of the town, shopping and eating at a cafe that overlooked the water. What a day, what a guide! While others were in large groups following a flag, we were with Marijana! Picked up at the hotel and escorted as if we were friends was the most relaxing, informative & fun experience. From the top of the hill to the city center, Marijana efficiently, but never hurriedly took the best paths through history, sites, and photo opportunities. :-) Her style is warm, friendly, passionate, and animated...easy to be with, laugh with, and learn from! She shared Dubrovnik's rich and deep history, including her own powerful, personal experiences from the war. She encouraged our curiosity and answered all our questions.
