Matija is an incredible guide. His English is great and his knowledge of the history and culture of Croatia in general and Dubrovnik in particular is fabulous. He not only includes the highlights of Dubrovnik in the tour, but terrific "off the beaten path" places. My husband and I are older and he was very solicitous. He is the father of young children and would be great with families as well.
We had an incredible tour of Dubrovnik with Matija. He was the best guide we have ever had. He is knowledgeable, personable, funny and kind. He took us to many places that most tourists won't see. The tour of Dubrovnik was the highlight of our trip because of Matija. If you are in Dubrovnik, I would highly recommend Matija!
Unfortunately our original guide Matija had a sick child at home so his brother Christian filled in for him. He was terrific covering the entire area of Dubrovnik before heading to Kings Landing. His local knowledge of the history of the area including the civil war in 1991 and his family’s involvement in the Battle of Dubrovnik was fascinating. The background of the filming of Game of Thrones was also interesting. When going to Dubrovnik you can’t go wrong with this brother team.
Matija did an incredible job of being flexible and giving us a non standard tour of the Dubrovnik area.
We were a family group of 7 of all ages. Everyone enjoyed the entire tour with Matija!! He took us to all the best sites giving us a chance to see so much without standing in lines and crowds. He is knowledgeable and fun😊. Our group all highly recommend going on a tour with him!
Matija was a great guide - friendly from start to finish. We did a combination of a van and walking tour. His knowledge was first rate and it worked well. We got a great sense of the city sites. He picked two great places for lunch and later dinner. We were referred to him by friends and highly recommend him to others.

Enjoy the view from the Dubrovnik Bridge and see the new part of town and Dubrovnik bay. In the middle of the Dubrovnik Bay is a hidden gem. Ombla river and waterfalls. Only 30 meters long river which comes from a spring underneath the mountain and ends after a waterfall into the sea. From the top of Mt. Srdj you will see the fantastic view of the Old town, the Elaphite Islands and island Lokrum and also you dont need the cable car because we are driving up and avoiding waiting in lines of people. The driving part will end at Pile Gate and then we will go into the Old town and Stradun street.
