While walking the Walls you will see Dubrovnik for what it is, a City with a soul, not just a pretty face! I will pick you up at your accommodation (Dubrovnik City area) or at the port (for cruise ships) and then we'll do the following: * a scenic drive alongside the Bay of the River of Dubrovnik and the slopes of the hill Srđ * panorama photo stop * drive to the Old town, park and walk 5 minutes to Pile/Ploche gate through the old neighbourhood of Dubrovnik * introduction into Dubrovnik's history before going inside its walls * walk of the City Walls (appropriate walking-footware and hats advised) * walk through Stradun (Placa) & the backstreets of the Old Town * stop at all main sites with explanation: - Onofrio's fountain, Franciscan monastery, - Town's open market (opened only during morning hours), - the Cathedral, Rector's Palace, - Dominican monastery, Sponza Palace, Church of St. Blaise, Orlando column, Stradun, Old port. . . **If you are a larger group or there is anything else you would like to add to our tour, don't hesitate to contact me.
