Greetings, dear guests! It'll be my pleasure to host you in Dubrovnik during your stay! I am Ivana and I am an official licensed guide for Dubrovnik and Dubrovnik-Neretva County. Before I decided to become a full-time tour guide, I was studying at American College of Management and Technology in Dubrovnik, division of Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT) where I majored in Small Business. After graduation, for several years I was working in management of one Croatian hotel chain when I decided to make a big career change and pursue new adventures. I enjoy my job in such extent I stopped considering it a job long time ago. Every day is an opportunity to meet new people from all over the world which is one of the greatest benefits of this job. During the guiding, I try to depict what life used to be like in old Ragusa and what life is like today in Dubrovnik. Of course, ages, years, architectural styles are all equally important, but without the perspective of any given era, guiding becomes a dull historical class which is definitely not my style. I take advantage of every winter, when business is a bit slower (we are mainly a summer destination), to travel around to wherever and to catch up on my reading. What intrigues me the most are Dubrovnik's legends and stories one cannot easily access on the Internet. I am not focused only on history, I also do Game of Thrones tours that are vastly popular in Dubrovnik (or should I say, King's Landing) - on this tour I take you to filming sites and locations and share stories from the set. The greatest highlight of the tour is the visit the top of the cable car, Mt Srdj - from there you have an amazing view of the entire old town and it will be your new favorite phone and laptop wallpaper. This tour is perfect for you if you're a first-time visitor limited with time, if you'd like to see all the best spots in one day and if you'd like to combine a multitude of stories into a single tour. I will gladly share my experience when I saw GoT occupying Dubrovnik - I have pictures of The Mountain and Cersei behind the scenes. All age groups are welcome and GoT pre-knowledge is not mandatory.

A great tour of the essential places in Dubrovnik. Ivana was very flexible when we were running late and gave us a great insight into the history, politics as well as the Game of Thrones locations.
If you are looking for an excellent tour with an English speaking guide in Dubrovnik, I can highly recommend Ivana. The GOT tour we took was filled with fun facts about GOT, Croatian and Dubrovnik History all interwoven with in a mostly walking (small drive to overlook at start) tour of the old town. She showed us the various sites used for major scenes and how they used FX to render them into scenes show on the show. You can not go wrong if you select a tour with Ivana. If we ever return to this area we would not hesitate to book another tour with Ivana.

Our exciting Game of Thrones tour in Dubrovnik consists of the most beautiful locations in my city. Here is what our day will look like: - pick up from your accommodation or cruise ship port - I'll welcome you to the tour with a professional driver and in a nice modern air-conditioned vehicle (comfortable van) - Mt. Srdj view - this is a hill above Dubrovnik and from there you'll enjoy a magnificient view of Dubrovnik's old town - GoT locations at Mt Srdj (in its vicinity) - Pile Gate - main entrance to the old town - Blackwater Bay area - it is in Pile's vicinity and it was a host to many familiar GoT scenes - Lovrijenac castle - location of the Red Keep and some other precious filming locations - Old Town streets - Jesuite stairs - also known as the "Walk of Shame" and some like to call it Spanish steps too - you'll discover why when we visit the site first hand - Iron Throne - I can take your memorable photo while you sit on it The tour finishes in the Old Town - I can organize drop off for you as well.
