I was born and raised on the westside of Chicago a bit over 50 years ago. I am the mother of three and the grandmother of five beautiful people. I enjoy outdoor activities with the grandkids, learning new things, Evangelizing , river boat cruises and traveling. Before I began conducting tours throughout the city, I worked many jobs not understanding why I was not happy , there was no fulfillment of joy. It wasn't until 2005 when my life changed. Understanding that I needed a job that fits my personality. Showcasing the city that I love, learning how much each of the 77 communities connects Chicago as a whole. The richness of this city has to be told. " The city of bright lights - The city of broad shoulders - The windy city ". Join me as I travel to "Bronzeville" one of the most famous black communities in the USA. This neighborhood was once compared to the Harlem renaissance. Each community has amazing food. Hop-on and Hop-off for homemade ice-cream and peach cobbler, Chicago style hotdogs, deep dish pizza and so much more. See you soon. I began training as a city tour guide in 2005.
