I have been writing travel guides as well as food & travel articles for the last 20 years. I've lived in a number of countries, including Hong Kong, Vietnam, France, Belgium, Italy, Portugal & the Netherlands, and my passion is to discover and learn as much as possible, plus to be able to share what I learn.

I am passionate about languages, nature, cooking, and culture. I speak fluent English, Italian, French, and Spanish, plus I have language certificates in Dutch, Portuguese, and Cantonese.

My passion to discover and make delicious dishes around the world lead me to study professional cooking, and even now I take cooking classes in every country I live or visit in order to understand cuisines around the world.

I 've also studied literature, publishing, first aid, and tourism, in order to become a Tour Guide to be able to assist you to the best of my ability.

Thanks to these studies in Tourism, languages and in the culinary arts, together with my friendly & outgoing personality, I believe that being a Tour Guide is the perfect fit for me.

Barcelona's Gaudian Modernism - Private tour - 3 hours

On this private tour, I'll guide you through the most interesting areas of the Roman city of Barcelona, exploring historical streets & tasting some great local food.

I'm not just a local tour guide, I'm also a professional chef and foodie, so you'll get the best of both worlds!

I'll explain the history, legends, local curiosities & culture of this fabulous city, plus offer you a unique insight into Spanish cuisine. In 5 hours I'll be showing you all the major sites in the old city and, if time allows, beyond the old Roman walls. We'll walk past ancient buildings & experience the rich vibe of Barcelona.

Along our tour, we'll stop at great little gems to taste local food. We'll also enter local markets and a number of historical sites. Our tour will take place mainly in the Gothic Quarter but if you have more time we can also visit other areas such as the Born neighborhood and can go as far as Barceloneta and the Old Port (let me know in advance so I can suggest a tailored and extended itinerary for you).
