Welcome to Lima! I'm Jorge, and for more than 20 years I've had the privilege of introducing travelers from around the world to Peru. But I don't believe a great private tour is simply about visiting landmarks. It's about understanding the stories behind them, tasting the flavors, meeting the people, discovering unexpected places and experiencing the city through the eyes of someone who calls it home. Over the years, I've shared Peru with travelers from more than 29 nationalities, especially visitors from the United States, creating experiences that combine history, culture, gastronomy and genuine human connection. My tours are private, flexible and never meant to feel scripted. Whether we're exploring Lima's historic center, discovering the bohemian streets of Barranco, tasting ceviche and pisco, or uncovering the mysteries of ancient Pachacamac, my goal is always the same: For you to leave Peru with stories worth telling. Great tour of an impressive complex, followed by a stop to explore Barranco and get some excellent ice cream and gain an appreciation for Peruvian chocolate. Jorge knowledge of Pachacamac is extensive and his English is We did a half day tour (normally Jorge’s tours are full day, but he stepped in after the guide we initially booked opted to cancel. Given the hectic traffic and confusion of a city with few thorough, having a knowledgeable guide and driver gave me a one-day experience that I couldn't have done in three days by myself. Jorge was courteous, friendly, knowledgeable and willing to adapt the tour to my particular interests. I learned so much about the city and its culture and the visit to a food market...
