Get the best experience of Iceland! As your local guide, tracing my bloodline to the Vikings of Iceland I will help you make great memories. I'm a certified guide born in Reykjavik, Iceland. I have a love for the Icelandic nature and it's constantly changing geology. Throughout the years I've travelled quite a lot in Iceland and I feel that Iceland has a lot to offer. I would be delighted to show you and share it with you. Having a second home on the north part of Snæfellsnes peninsula on the West coast of Iceland has given me a special passion for that area, but Snæfellsnes have been called "Little Iceland" because of the variety of the landscape as it zooms up all the aspects of Icelandic geology and nature. As well as being a certified guide, I have a degree in business management and I am also a Graphic Designer, running my own studio for over 20 years so I have a good eye for good spots to take pictures. Icelandic history and geology has always been a part of my hobbies so there is a lot of things to share. I have a passion for sharing the specialities of Icelandic nature and culture. Icelandic history dating back from the time period of the settlement keep many of the keys to understand the way we life and our culture. After having travelled in Iceland for decades, my ambition is to give you information and facts about Iceland, the people of Iceland, the nature and just being your best travel companion. Sharing the history of Iceland and facts about the volcanoes and glaciers and the constant changing nature is a pleasure. Visiting local Icelandic people is also a key to get to know the life of the average Icelander and how we live, our interests and opinions on this small island in the north. That is why I like taking my customers for a chat and coffee with homemade Icelandic pastries with the locals at their ordinary Icelandic home. Flexibility is my middle name, so any preferences or requests are always welcome. My philosophy regarding tourism in Iceland is that I like to give my customers the same treatment and experience as I would like to have if I was a tourist in their country. So drop me a line, and let's see how we can make the most of your Icelandic visit and how you can make precious memories. - Certified guide from MK in Reykjavik - - Authorised daytour provider from Iceland tourist board Nr 2023-067. - Passenger transport permit from the Icelandic Transport Authority Nr.2495 - Commercial driving licence, Category D - Member of the Iceland Tourist Guide Association. From geology, flora, fauna, food, history, culture, you name it, he knew it. The Golden Circle can be crowded. Halldor knew all the tricks to slip us in and out along with timing. AND, we hit so...
