I am proud of my independent country, which was once part of Sweden and Russia. After World War II, Finland evolved from a poor agrarian nation to a well-organized welfare state with a contented population. This clean and safe country is the place to visit. Helsinki offers fresh air, green parks, clean surroundings, and, not to mention culture, architecture, and some oddities related to attractions (and people :)) There are several excursion options, and the standard tours represent just a few. Tours can be provided to our beautiful islands with yachts/wooden vessels, cozy neighborhoods, public saunas, and even floating saunas. I think this sauna experience should be added to your bucket list :) My genuine goal is to make your tour memorable, combining informative content with fun. Come and spend a day with me! I am a humorous, flexible, professional guide, and if I can't make you smile, who can? - Licensed Helsinki guide for 19 years, freelancer - Currently Tour leader in Spain, Portugal, Istanbul/Turkey, and Thailand, as well as in Finnish Lapland for Abercrombie& Kent - Licensed guide in Suomenlinna Sea Fortress, Oodi Library, and the Olympic Stadium - Former flight attendant at Finnair - I keep annually up with my First aid skills ( May 2023) - I am an experienced driver and will have a Toyota Chr/2020 or a minivan (depending on the size of the group) for our tours

Having been on numerous private tours around the world, the tour guided by Laili was the most informative and friendliest of all. Laila carefully structured the tour to our interest level and physical ability. Her knowledge and passion for Finland was admirable. The best.

Laila has an amazing positive energy over her and with her knowledge of the city and its history is an ideal guide to show Finland and Helsinki. She is a true natural, we fairly enjoyed the whole tour.
