Private Helsinki Highlights and Medieval Old Town of Porvoo

This tour starts with a 50-minute drive to the unique, cozy Old Town of Porvoo. On the way, I will talk about interesting things: our oddities, Saunas, nature, education, healthcare, etc. The list is endless! Porvoo has a rich history, and it has played a significant role in our rocky road towards independence from Russia. It is a cozy city with old wooden houses and narrow streets, cafeterias, and boutiques. Once back in Helsinki, we will visit the most popular attractions, drive along the waterfront, and admire Europe's largest archipelago. This tour will be in a comfortable A/C car, with me as the driver.

Start from the agreed area: port, hotel Old Town of Porvoo (approximately 50 minutes' drive) - Porvoo Cathedral is one of the oldest stone churches in Finland. A visit to this former Catholic Church is included (if open) - The Brunberg chocolate store represents the oldest chocolate factory in Finland (tastings) - Former houses of the four estates represent our history before our parliamentary system - Old City Hall square with its museums (optional visit; entrance fee is not included) - Walking among the unique old wooden houses Helsinki: - Neo-Classical Senate Square (visit) - Icebreakers (visit outside) - Presidential Palace - Uspenski Cathedral - Parliament House - Finlandia Hall - The National Museum - Kiasma, the Contemporary Museum - Sibelius monument (visit) - Oodi library(visit ) - The Rock Church (visit, entrance fee included) - Market Square and Food Market (visit) - On our route from Porvoo, we will visit a unique allotment garden with tiny cottages.
