Hello! I am a tourism, culture and event management professional with a master's degree. I possess official tourist and wilderness guide certifications. Let's discover the most significant architectural sights of Helsinki. International cultural architecture by Aalto, Engel, Sonck and Saarinen has modified the city towards to the most interesting design cities in the world! Besides to the city center and the Rock Church, we will admire the modern design of Löyly Sauna, the Art Nouveau Eira Villas, Katajanokka district and Finlandia Hall by Alvar Aalto. This tour will pass by the most beautiful historic buildings in Kallio and Vallila district. I will present Helsinki's most magnificent mansions, castle-style buildings and luxurious private villas of the most significant and honorable figures in the history of Helsinki and Finland. These buildings were designed by Engel, Lindgren, Granstedt and Sonck. Finally, we will visit the Sibelius monument, drive to Seurasaari district and follow the scenic route until to beautiful Kuusisaari or visit at the Iittala & Arabia Glass&Ceramics Design Center!
Nina was a fantastic tour guide for our family. She had vast knowledge of not only Helsinki, but also all of Finland. She showed us all the major sites of the city and explained the complex history of the country and their various rulers. I highly recommend her.

Nina was awesome. First time for us in Helsinki, her tour around town with us was absolutely what we wanted for our first day there. We learned so much about the culture, architecture, and sites. And best of all, we laughed a lot! Highly recommended.
Nina was very friendly and helpful to our family. Although the weather was not nice with heavy rain at times. Nina tried her best to show us around with her best efforts. She even had her umbrella ready when we tried to get my mom out of the car and helped her to get on her wheelchair. Overall we had a Great time with Nina and enjoyed the tour despite of the bad weather. We will highly recommend Nina to everyone who would like to visit Finland. Excellent job, Nina

Wonderful experience with Nina. We got a great overview of Helsinki - some of the main tourist sites but also a feeling for the different suburbs. Nina was very knowledgeable about all things Finnish, had a great sense of humour - a perfect tour guide. She knew the best way to get places and we felt like we were on a tour with a family friend. We would strongly recommend this tour.
