Green parks, the Baltic Sea, along with major highlights and local neighborhoods - that is the content of our tour! Helsinki is a compact, vibrant city with all major attractions within a short distance. We will use public transport to get the most out of our tour and to reach local areas outside downtown and the crowds. Hidden gems - the Moomin family, a sauna installation, Helsinki's smallest wooden Coffee shop, all these will be revealed. During the tour, we will also visit the Food Market, with local tastings included in the tour. This tour reveals the treasures of Helsinki! CRUISE GUESTS: Private/public transportation with a fee from the port to downtown can be arranged, and we start from there. Downtown is about 2,7 km or 1,7 miles. * Another option is to walk from the port to the trolley stop, 0,6 miles/ 1km, and the tour will be 30 minutes longer, altogether 4,5 hours.
Your Helsinki tour itinerary
- I will pick you up from the hotel or the port. - We will start the tour by taking a tram/trolley to the Rock Church. From the church, we will take the bus to the Sibelius monument and visit the oldest wooden coffee shop at the same time. Let´s enjoy a cup of coffee/pastry here at the cozy sea terrace (included in the tour). After the bus ride back to the center, we will walk and see many important buildings, the Senate Square, the Presidential Palace, Uspenski Cathedral, and many more.. Oodi Library is today the most visited place in Helsinki, and you will be impressed - it is so much more than a library. - I will take you back to your hotel or port, or you may stay in the center.
