I booked the four hour tour with Maria, and it was very good. She is knowledgeable and friendly, very happy to answer any of the questions that I had. After the tour, I left with an interest in exploring how to bring the Nordic societal model home, and in learning more about the parallels between the early 20th century and today. She gave me a great tour, and a lot to think about afterward. I think you’ll have a great time!
With limited time to see Helsinki this was the perfect tour. Monica was an amazing guide and shared her knowledge and obvious love of the city to make this truly a memorable day. Maria did a wonderful job showing us the highlights of Helsinki while also sharing stories and insights about the city's people, history, and culture. She was attentive to our interests, answered all our questions and made sure we had time to enjoy each stop. As an added bonus, Monica takes great pictures to help document the memories. I highly recommend Maria to anyone visiting Helsinki. She is an excellent guide and helped make our time in the city memorable.

We had some last minute logistical issues (our fault) and Maria adapted wonderfully. She tailored the tour so that everyone in our family remained engaged and truly interested. Our kids were super impressed and had a great time - which is not an easy thing to accomplish :). Maria was a gem! I had an 11 hour stop over on my way back home and Maria took me on the 4 hour walking tour around Helsinki city. She was so knowledgeable on all the modern and regal ancient architecture. She was immediately friendly and had so many wonderful chats with me along the way.
