Paivi is an outstanding guide. On the day we had arranged to take this walking tour, it was pouring rain in Helsinki. Paivi offered to do the walking part on the following day. Unfortunately, we were limited on time and chose to do the tour in the rain. We could not have asked for a better guide! Paivi is a wonderful tour guide. She's warm and friendly, and provided a wealth of information about Helsinki and the history of Finland, as well as Finish architecture and culture. She carefully planned our tour to help assure we would see the essential sites of the city, while avoiding the crowds of large group tours as much as possible. One of the highlights of our day was simply sitting and chatting and becoming acquainted over coffee and pastry. We highly recommend Paivi as a tour guide.

totally a delight to travel with her and her enthusiasm. She introduced my clients and I to a local dish for lunch . salmon soup ( and I don't particularly like fish) but enjoyed every drop of this one. Her knowledge of the locations we visited was terrific and she always found the very best places to park to limit the amount of walking I needed to do to get to a location ( I walk with a cane). We packed in a very full day and managed to experience all the things on my wish list including suomolinna.
