I love to share my passion for culture and history of Dubrovnik, giving a unique perspective, as my family has lived in the city since 16th century. The city never ceases to amaze me and even though I grew up in Dubrovnik, its rich history and extraordinary beauty continue to be an endless source of inspiration. Having worked and lived in many countries around the world, I have over 25 years of international guiding experience and knowledge. I am also an artist working with acrylics on canvass. I am passionate about sports, literature and music. I live in Dubrovnik with my wife, son and three daughters. * In response to Covid pandemic I have received full vaccination. - Licensed tour guide with international experience. None

    We thoroughly enjoyed our tour with Michael. There were 14 people in our group so he was very accommodating in changing the time of our tour to suit everyone and providing headsets so we would all hear. He showed us several locations from the filming of Game of Thrones as well as providing us with some history of Dubrovnik and Croatia. I would definitely recommend him.

    Our original tour canceled and Tours by Locals quickly found Michael to accompany our family through Dubrovnik as well as the countryside. Michael was simply fantastic and found small ways to connect and keep our teenagers and very early 20's children engaged.     Michael was an awesome tour guide - he shared with us all of the great GOT hotspots including on Lokrum island. While the cable car does show a beautiful aerial view of the city, if you are on a tight budget and need to choose between the cable car and Lokrum Island, I would definitely go with Lokrum.
