My name is Darko and I was born and raised in Dubrovnik where I have spent most of my life.

My home town, its medieval city walls and its picturesque surroundings are something that I have always found magically enchanting. That is one of the reasons why I chose to spend the last 19 years of my life working in tourism. At the beginning I worked as a professional driver/guide, and since 2014 as a licensed tourist guide.

All of these have given me the possibility to do something that fulfills me, and makes me really happy: exploring my country, presenting it to our guests, meeting new people from different parts of the world. . . But most of all I enjoy having direct contact with the guests, and creating customized tours that can suite a wide range of their wishes.

In case You are visiting Dubrovnik by cruise ship ( docked in the new port ), our meeting point is the main pedestrian port exit/entrance, opposite your ship, 1 - 3 minutes on foot from ship's gang way. You will get photo of the location prior the tour.

This is a customized tour to Bosna and Hercegovina starting from Dubrovnik Croatia. It is a whole day tour during which we will cover the most known sites in Bosna and Hercegovina, City of Mostar and Kravice water falls. This way you will see diversities of Bosna and Hercegovina, hear about it's history and have some time to enjoy on your own. And finally, walk with me down Stradun, one of the most beautiful streets in the World and learn about Dubrovnik - the heart of the once glorious Republic of Ragusa under protection of Saint Blaise, an UNESCO World Heritage site, the cradle of diplomacy, the home of quarantine laws - the city that cherished freedom above all!

We won't forget to take stunning photos of Dubrovnik from Srdj hill panorama - the shimmering Adriatic sea will make a perfect frame!

This experience of Dubrovnik on a special way ; by walking around one of the best preserved fortification systems in Europe, almost two kilometers in length, with its forts and towers is one of my favorites since I was kid !!!

From these guardians of Dubrovnik's freedom through the centuries, you can experience the story of rise and fall of Dubrovnik republic, with the view of the city rooftops, narrow stairways, church bell towers, and Dubrovnik's main window to the world, the Old City port, from where Dubrovnik merchant fleet has been travelling to the open sea and faraway shores. . .

" O lijepa, o draga, o slatka slobodo " , verses of Dubrovnik's anthem to freedom have been engraved in our lives and hearts from the beginning of Dubrovnik till today !!!

Why do we, locals get goosebumps EVERY time we hear the sound of it at the opening ceremony of Dubrovnik summer festival while the Freedom or LIBERTAS flag proudly flies on top of the Orlando column ?
