I fell in love with Paris long time ago, when I visited this incredible city for the first time. When I moved here I decided to learn everything I could about history, culture, art but also legends, traditions, food, lifestyle, boutiques. . . I ended up being a licensed tour guide, a professional personal shopper and I am still learning! I make new discoveries everyday and I love sharing my knowledge with travelers who are curious to learn something more than what you can read in tourists' books.
In my tour I love making the past live again, following unusual paths even in the most touristic areas and letting you experience the authentic Paris, feeling like local. I am smiling and flexible: if you are looking for a truly taylormade Parisian tour in a very friendly atmosphere feel free to contact me and I will organize it for you: from walking tours in the city to high-end shopping experiences, from Skip-the-line Museums visits to thematic itineraries to enjoy parisian cultural or gastronomic heritage. . .
I have a strong historical and artistic background (graduated with honors in History of Art in Venice, Italy) and I've been working in tourism for more than 9 years. I have 3 different tour guide licenses, including the official French Tour Guide License (Carte Professionelle de Guide Conferencier n. 1475034P) so I can guide you in all French museums and monuments, providing a Skip-the-line service for almost all of them. I am not a driver but I can arrange for you private transfers with fully licensed and professionally insured drivers in Paris and outside the city (day excursions to Versailles, Loire Castles, Chartres. . . ). I've been working with schools for years (and I have 2 children) so I know what you are looking for if you are travelling with kids.
A Recent Review of this guide
We scheduled 2 tours with Sara and were very happy with both. The Versailles tour was interesting, and on a crowded July day we skipped the lines, which was big. We also were able to tour the garden in a way where we saw many of the fountains and got explanations on all we saw. For our tour we met outside the Palace, were directed to area in the rooms in the Palace where we could get explanations and see all and we were away from most of the crowds. We recommend this tour and enjoyed working with Sara.
