Bonjour! I am an Italian art historian Parisian at heart and a licensed tour guide in France. I fell in love with Paris a long time ago, when I visited this incredible city for the first time. When I moved here I decided to learn everything about its history, culture, art but also legends, traditions, food, lifestyle, boutiques. . . I read all the books I could; I visited every single museum, art collection, monument and historical place I could, including the closed ones (good guides always have great connection); I walked along (almost) every street, garden, square and I consumed some many shoes you cannot even image. I ended up being a French licensed tour guide, a professional personal shopper in Paris and I am still learning! I make new discoveries every day and I love sharing my knowledge with travelers who are curious to learn something more than what you can read in tourists' books. In my tour, I love making the past lives again, following unusual paths even in the most touristic areas and letting you experience the authentic Paris, feeling like local. I like the idea of a sustainable tourism, even in a city like Paris. If you like walking around, let's take it slow and enjoy the city and its secrets addresses. . . Sun or rain it will be spectacular! I am smiling and flexible: if you are looking for a truly taylormade Parisian tour in a very friendly atmosphere feel free to contact me and I will organise it for you: from walking tours in the city to high-end shopping experiences, from Skip-the-line Museums visits to thematic itineraries to enjoy Parisian cultural or gastronomic heritage. . . all my tours are studied to be fun, informative and safe (including headsets that I personally and carefully sanitize after every single use). I have a strong historical and artistic background (graduated with honours in History of Art in Venice, Italy) and I've been working in tourism for more than 9 years. I have 3 different tour guide licenses, including the official French Tour Guide License (Carte Professionelle de Guide Conferencier n. 1475034P) so I can guide you in all French museums and monuments, providing a Skip-the-line service for almost all of them. I am not a driver but I can arrange for you private transfers with fully licensed and professionally insured drivers in Paris and outside the city (day excursions to Versailles, Loire Castles, Chartres. . . ). I've been working with schools for years (and I have 2 children) so I know what you are looking for if you are travelling with kids. - MA degree in Art History - Graduated with honours in Conservation of Cultural Heritage and Art History (Ca' Foscari University, Venice, Italy) - specialized in XVI century art - Former art history teacher - Carte Professionelle de Guide-Conferencier (number: n. 1475034P) - Member of FNGIC (Federation Nationale Des Guides Interpretes et Conferencier) - Member of Paris Historique, a national association dedicated to the protection and enhancement of Parisian cultural heritage - Viking Local Guide Certificate of Excellence (Oct. 2016) I am not a driver. I can accompany you in your vehicle or I can arrange for a separate car or minivan and driver

When I moved to Paris I thought that Montmartre was all about Place du Tertre and the Sacre Coeur and it looked too crowded and noisy. Then I stepped out of the beaten paths to discover a different reality full of history and quaint views! Discover with me how a little countryside village ended up being one of the most famous districts in Paris! We will visit famous landmarks and hidden gems, that only locals know. We will admire the Sacre Coeur basilica and its incredible view, Place du Tertre, the vineyard, the famous cabarets and the Montmartre's windmills (yes, we don't have just one windmill in Montmartre!), the wall of "je t'aime" and many other places. We will follow the footsteps of the many artists who lived here: from Van Gogh to Picasso, from Renoir to Modigliani. . . I will bring back to life the old Montmartre with its history and secrets. Who said that Montmartre is for tourists only? You will discover with me the real soul of this district full of history and charm!
- Meeting at Anvers metro stop (on request, we can meet in front of the Sacre Coeur church so you avoid the steps to go up or I can pick up at your hotel in Paris). - Visit to the Sacre Coeur (please mind that there might be a line for security control and the dress code is strict: no shorts, tank tops and revealing outfit). - Walking tour: Place du Tertre, Montmartre Vineyard (outside only), Place Dalida, Moulin de la Galatte (outside), Bateau Lavoir, "Je t'aime" wall. . . . The tour will end near the Metro Stop Abbesses. From there you can easily go back to the top of the hill (walking or using the funicular again) to do a little souvenir shopping or you can enjoy a lunch in a traditional French Brasserie or a sandwich seating in a little park. Would you like to personalize this tour? Just contact me! We can walk down Rue des Martyrs, visit the Musee the Montmartre and Suzanne Valadon's ateliers, add a tour in the covered passages. . .

Walking tour. Go for very comfortable shoes and bring with you a bottle of water, hat and sunscreen in summer and don't forget rain gear in case of bad weather. Please note that Montmartre is a hill so we will need to walk up and down of it to visit the district and see all the most famous landmarks. Walking around can be demanding for young/senior visitors. If you have walking issue please contact me for a personalized tour.
Airport: ,Cruise: ,ByGuide: Anvers Metro stop. I will wait for you outside the metro stop. I will have a green folder so you can easily recognize me. On request only I can pick you at your hotel if in Paris city center.
