Bonjour! I am an Italian art historian Parisian at heart and a licensed tour guide in France. I fell in love with Paris a long time ago, when I visited this incredible city for the first time. When I moved here I decided to learn everything about its history, culture, art but also legends, traditions, food, lifestyle, boutiques. . . I read all the books I could; I visited every single museum, art collection, monument and historical place I could, including the closed ones (good guides always have great connection); I walked along (almost) every street, garden, square and I consumed some many shoes you cannot even image. I ended up being a French licensed tour guide, a professional personal shopper in Paris and I am still learning! I make new discoveries every day and I love sharing my knowledge with travelers who are curious to learn something more than what you can read in tourists' books. In my tour, I love making the past lives again, following unusual paths even in the most touristic areas and letting you experience the authentic Paris, feeling like local. I like the idea of a sustainable tourism, even in a city like Paris. If you like walking around, let's take it slow and enjoy the city and its secrets addresses. . . Sun or rain it will be spectacular! I am smiling and flexible: if you are looking for a truly taylormade Parisian tour in a very friendly atmosphere feel free to contact me and I will organise it for you: from walking tours in the city to high-end shopping experiences, from Skip-the-line Museums visits to thematic itineraries to enjoy Parisian cultural or gastronomic heritage. . . all my tours are studied to be fun, informative and safe (including headsets that I personally and carefully sanitize after every single use). I have a strong historical and artistic background (graduated with honours in History of Art in Venice, Italy) and I've been working in tourism for more than 9 years. I have 3 different tour guide licenses, including the official French Tour Guide License (Carte Professionelle de Guide Conferencier n. 1475034P) so I can guide you in all French museums and monuments, providing a Skip-the-line service for almost all of them. I am not a driver but I can arrange for you private transfers with fully licensed and professionally insured drivers in Paris and outside the city (day excursions to Versailles, Loire Castles, Chartres. . . ). I've been working with schools for years (and I have 2 children) so I know what you are looking for if you are travelling with kids. - MA degree in Art History - Graduated with honours in Conservation of Cultural Heritage and Art History (Ca' Foscari University, Venice, Italy) - specialized in XVI century art - Former art history teacher - Carte Professionelle de Guide-Conferencier (number: n. 1475034P) - Member of FNGIC (Federation Nationale Des Guides Interpretes et Conferencier) - Member of Paris Historique, a national association dedicated to the protection and enhancement of Parisian cultural heritage - Viking Local Guide Certificate of Excellence (Oct. 2016) I am not a driver. I can accompany you in your vehicle or I can arrange for a separate car or minivan and driver

19th century Paris was not only the capital of France but the place to go to enjoy a lavish and modern lifestyle. In this busy city where everything was changing, the covered passages played an important role. They were sophisticated shopping arcades, elegant walking paths, fancy venues adorned with glass and iron roofs housing luxurious cafes and restaurants. Today they are authentic hidden gems, far from the tourist crowd. . are you ready to dive in the past and experience a Paris that will be definitely gone in few years? Follow me in this adventure! You will discover a part of the city unknown event to many locals and learn plenty of anecdotes about Paris and the famous people who lived in it like Napoleon, Chopin, Colette. . . and many others! Please note that this is not a shopping tour but you will have the chance to browse an array of different and unique shops (dusty bookshops, art and antique boutiques, chocolate stores. . . ), take great pictures and, if you fancy it, relax in a cosy tea room!
Meeting point at Grand Boulevards metro station (on request I can pick you up at your hotel) We will visit: - Passage Verdeau - Passage jouffroy - Passage des Panoramas - Galerie Vivienne - Passage Colbert (not always open) - Palais Royal's Garden Are you looking for a personalized tour? Just let me know and I will create it for you. We can do a longer tour to visit other two passages or combine the Covered Passages tour with another one, like the Musee du Louvre or a guided tour of the Opera House.
Tell your guide which places matter to you, skip what doesn't, and tailor the experience for your group's needs. Not finding what you want? Message your guide to build something unique.
