Discover Paris with a guide who combines deep cultural knowledge, strong organization, and the ability to adapt every visit to your interests. More than 1400 tours on ToursByLocals & more than 500 reviews almost all of them 5 stars. I have been working as a professional guide since 2012 and I truly enjoy sharing Paris through clear, structured and engaging explanations. I have a very synthetic mindset and know how to highlight what really matters, making complex topics easy to understand and memorable. I am highly organized, especially when it comes to timing and logistics. My tours are designed to run smoothly and efficiently, allowing guests to make the most of their time. I am also a skilled and confident driver, used to navigating Paris efficiently and driving on day trips far away in the french countryside. Rather than focusing on a single specialty, I offer a broad and solid cultural knowledge — a “Swiss army knife” approach — which allows me to adapt quickly to a wide variety of interests and expectations : French history & Revolution, monarchy, gardens, architecture, religion, gastronomy, wine, urban development, real estate, monuments, museums and small talk too … I am particularly passionate about painting and sculpture, and I enjoy revealing the context, symbolism and hidden meanings behind artworks and doing so helping visitors better understand the masterpieces. I adapt easily to each guest’s pace, curiosity and level of knowledge. Whether you are looking for a structured historical overview, an interactive discussion, or a flexible and personalized itinerary, I adjust my guiding style accordingly. I genuinely enjoy communicating my knowledge and making cultural content accessible, clear and engaging. If you are looking for a reliable, well-organized and adaptable guide who can cover a wide range of topics while offering clear explanations and smooth logistics, I will be happy to design a tour tailored to your wishes. Contact me with your interests and I will design your perfect Paris itinerary ! This private half-day tour of Versailles offers a rich and comprehensive visit of the palace and gardens while providing clear structure and historical perspective. The goal is to see and understand as much as possible without losing meaning or coherence. My approach combines an extensive visit with strong synthesis: as we move through the main rooms, apartments and key areas, I explain how Versailles functioned as the center of royal power and daily court life. Architecture, protocol, hierarchy and routines are used to show how power was exercised and maintained. The gardens are fully integrated into the visit, helping to understand how space, movement and perspective were organized on a monumental scale. Throughout the tour, clear explanations and well-chosen anecdotes give context to what you see and help connect the different parts of the palace into a coherent whole. This tour is ideal for visitors who want both substance and understanding. Contact me to adapt the pace and focus to your interests.
I will describe, comment, tell you the story of what's further: - OUTSIDE: Small and great stables, The symbolic 3 roads of Versailles and its link with Washington DC, la place d'armes, la cour de marbre. - INSIDE: escalier Gabriel, the king's CHAPEL, the Hercule's room, the enfilade PUBLIC APPARTMENTS of the king (6 rooms), the bull's eye antechamber, the bedchamber, the Council study, the enfilade Queen's apartments (4 rooms), Peace and War rooms and the astonishing, brilliant, overwhelming HALL OF MIRRORS. - GARDENS: Great canal and perspective, facade of the palace from the gardens, the Orangerie, few hidden gardens called "bosquet" if opened, the Latone fountain, the Apollo fountain. That's already a good program for around a 2 and a half hour stay in Versailles. A whole day visit (8h from Paris) is also available. The visit adds two small palaces: the Petit and Grand Trianon and le Hameau de la reine (English gardens): the intimate private estate of Marie Antoinette.
