Hello everyone !!! My name is Steeve and I will love to be your guide for your next trip to Paris. Let's start off with a bit of my own experience in the Tourism Industry. Born in Paris near Montmartre, I grew up on the left bank of the city in St Germain where I graduated from high school. I decided to study in the Travel University in San Diego in 1997 and 1998 before specialising in the Tourism Industry for two more years in Montpellier, south of France, and then becoming a licensed guide in Paris. I am also graduated from the French Wine University of Suze-la-Rousse and worked as a sommelier in Paris, before specialising in leading wine tours around France. I am very flexible, a real history buff and love guiding people. Of course wine and food !!! we are in France. I love my country . . . I only operate private tours in deluxe minivans with pick-up and drop off to and from your hotel. Before starting the tour, I love taking a few minutes to discuss the tour itself with you, so that I can better understand your expectations and make the best choices for the day, all personalised towards your interests and desires. My tours are never the same, because people who book my tours are regarded as individuals, so my first goal is always to customise your tour based on your wishes. I love to personalise my tours, share small anecdotes so everybody can enjoy the trip. You are not just buying an excursion somewhere, but rather a full French experience, where the guide makes all the difference. Hope to see you soon. . . - National Tourist Guide License issued by the French Ministry of Culture and Tourism - Professional Sommelier Diploma from the French Wine University of Suze-la-Rousse - Travel University International in San Diego - CA Could you please ask me directly by e-mail for my availability before booking with me, especially during high season from April 1st until October 31st. Thank you !

Visiting the many D-Day sites in Normandy should be at the top of every World War II history buff's bucket list. Very few other places evoke the kind of historical energy that the battlegrounds and memorials of Normandy do. It will truly be a trip you will never, ever forget !!!! I I always take lots of documents, photos and maps to make it special and for a better understanding. On this complete, full‐day tour, you will discover the Landing Beaches of Normandy where on the 6th of June 1944, the Allied forces landed on the coast of Lower Normandy to start the liberation of Europe from the Nazis. You will re-live the principal events with me and battles of the Longest Day. I will pick you up from your hotel in Paris at 7. 00 am in a deluxe private vehicle and you will depart immediately to the wonderful region of Normandy. Upon your arrival, I will be given an introduction to the battle of Normandy.
Very personable and knowledgeable. We had an excellent tour to Normandy. The lunch we stopped for was delicious. Explained everything very well.
Steeve was a fabulous guide. He is so knowledgeable and really understands the history of WWII and D-Day. It was a super tour!
We spent 3 days with Steeve and enjoyed every minute. Very knowledgeable and history buff. Very flexible and knows all the shortcuts. We did his Normandy, Giverny/Versailles and Paris tours and highly recommend any of them. We will do Steeve's wine country tours next trip.
Great Tour! Steeve is an excellent guide
Steeve was an excellent tour guide. He was very knowledgeable, accommodating and personable. It was a long drive, but Steeve kept it interesting with discussion and a well needed coffee stop. He had much of his own material to share and we also listened to Ronald Reagan's speech at the 40th anniversary ceremony. Once in Normandy we went through the various stops at a pace that was perfectly comfortable for us and Steeve shared his great knowledge of the events of D Day and following. I highly recommend Steeve, we will book him again for a tour of PAris when we return.
Steeve provided an excellent tour. His knowledge of D-Day and all that surrounds it is amazing. His enthusiasm for history is contagious. As many have said in their reviews his timing to avoid crowds is perfect, including lunch at a quiet restaurant with a menu to suit everyone and the best mussels I have ever eaten. Steeve answered endless questions and tailored our tour, both the information and activity level to suit the granddaughters in their twenties and the grandparents in their seventies. Excellent!
You will begin your day in Pointe du Hoc, a strategic position for the Germans overlooking the English Channel. I will explain to you how the US Second Ranger Battalion successfully assaulted Pointe du Hoc after scaling the cliffs. You will then enjoy the scenery whilst driving along Omaha Beach before reaching one of the highlights of the day: the American Cemetery where 9387 American soldiers are buried. I will show you famous headstones such as The Niland Brothers who inspired Steven Spielberg's film, Saving Private Ryan. Following this, you will have a lunch in a traditional restaurant in the countryside. Enjoy some of the best specialities of Normandy region: fresh sea‐food, Camembert cheese with some great local cider BON APPETIT ! In the afternoon, you will discover the German Battery of Longues-sur-Mer and the beautiful town of Arromanches where the massive artificial harbour built by the Allies still remains. Feel free to contact me if you would like to customise this tour or make a 2 days trip.

I always operate my tours in deluxe, air-conditioned vehicles, with pick-up and drop-off at your hotel. My vehicles are super clean and very comfortable. Depending on the size of your group, I will take the appropriate vehicle. - I have one deluxe black car Renault Espace with a capacity of 4 people maximum. It has a panoramic roof and it is great for city tour. - I also have a black Minivan Caravelle Volkswagen with a capacity of 7 people maximum, great for a larger group and big family.
