Paris Main Monuments Private tour

Spectacular day with Genevieve! Her communication way before the tour even started was the first thing that impressed me. Genevieve is such a professional and she truly knows how to listen and then deliver. I toured with my 16 and 26 year old daughters and my 28 year old niece. Each of us feels the same - our tour was a #1 highlight of our trip to Paris. The heat was oppressive and we still feel this way. We learned interesting historical accounts of a wide variety of sites and monuments. We saw things that we never would have seen if we tried to tour beautiful Paris on our own. And the recommendations and follow-ups well after our tour was complete was a surprising bonus (that should have been no surprise given Genevieve’s service from the start). Genevieve did a great job with my four older travelers and made Paris come alive for them with her thorough knowledge. Her communication and timeliness are always flawless. She continues to be my “go to” in Paris!

We were looking for a tour of something other than the major tourist attractions we could get by hopping on a tour bus - particularly museums and monuments which we had either seen on a prior visit or could easily visit on our own. Instead, we wanted to go through neighborhoods, learn something of history and culture of the various parts of Paris while seeing some sites we would not know to explore on our own. Genevieve - a native Parisian who also spent several years living in the US and has now been a tour guide for many years - was a everything we could have hoped for. Whether is was a stroll through the Bon Marche, a visit to a large Hermes store formerly the home to an indoor pool, or lessons on getting around via bus and metro (and on foot), she was funny, interesting and informative, making our time together fly by. We have already booked her for tours of two other parts of Paris during our stay. We could not recommend her more highly.

This was our second tour with Genevieve and it was perfect. We had the most wonderful day in Paris and got to see everything you'd want to see on a day trip. Everything was perfectly planned out and we left with a lifetime of memories and hundreds of photos.

Genevieve was great! She knew all the best spots for photos, got along great with the kids and even made wonderful recommendations for everthing from restaurants to travel instructions and helps. We give her our unreserved recommendation!

If you are looking for an intimate tour of Paris, Genevieve is your Guide. The tour began as she met us at our hotel Lobby. She was punctual and friendly with the offer of a private vehicle if we so desired. We elected to use the public transportation, so as to learn how to navigate the city with her guidance and continuous commentary. Her English is excellent with a wonderful French accent. She is knowledgeable regarding the history, art, and architecture of the Venus that we visited. It was not our main interest. To visit the primary sites and museums, since we had explored them on a previous trip. In addition, she took photographs of us at various places and sites so we could remember them when we returned home. Our rating is a 5 star for Genevieve as our tour guide and was worth every Euro that we spent. Bernice and Geoff
