Overview of your Reykjavik tour
Hunt for the Northern lights in one of the best locations on earth with one of the most experienced guide in Iceland! Watch the glimmering lights move across the sky at the speed of light in green, blue and even red colors. Please ask if there's more than 4 in your group. I can do tours for up to 70 persons when requested. The Northern lights are a natural phenomenon which usually form 100-200 km above ground. It is dark enough from mid September to mid April to see them. However, it is not possible to see them when it is cloudy or when the solar activity is low. The starting time of this tour depends on the time of the year and the time it starts getting dark at night. Please ask.
Your Reykjavik tour itinerary
Depart Reykjavik on a hunt for the Northern lights! I'll pick you up from your accommodation in the evening at the time we agree on. You can contact me directly last minute by phone, messenger or What's app for last minute changes in case you've been delayed at a restaurant for example. The exact route depends on several factors such as. . . --- Cloud prediction --- Activity prediction --- Road condition --- Weather condition I've been giving Northern lights tours for over 30 years. You'll benefit from my experience to maximize your chance to see the lights. We may due to poor conditions agree to cancel the tour. In this case I do not charge for the service. Should you be interested in photographing the lights I can assist with the camera settings. Available from mid-September to mid-April. Let's go look for some lights!
