Meet Frank – Your London Insider Hi, I’m Frank — and if you’re visiting Britain, you deserve more than just a tour… you deserve a great day out. I like my tours relaxed, friendly, and fun. You’re on vacation, so let me take care of the planning, the driving, the routes, and the storytelling — all you need to do is enjoy the experience. Whether it’s your first time in London or your fifth visit to England, I make sure every tour feels personal, easygoing, and memorable. Born, raised, and shaped in London to Irish parents, I’ve spent my entire life exploring the streets, stories, and hidden corners of this city. After working in construction as a bricklayer and stonemason, I changed careers to pursue something I truly loved — becoming a London Black Cab Driver by completing The Knowledge of London, one of the toughest professional exams in the world. Later, I qualified as an official taxi guide through the Worshipful Company of Hackney Carriage Drivers, allowing me to guide professionally while driving you in comfort around the capital and beyond. Over the years, I’ve guided visitors from across the United States, and I know exactly what makes a trip special — great sights, fascinating stories, a little humour, and enough flexibility to follow what you find interesting. ⸻ London and Beyond My London tours cover everything from the must-see highlights to hidden gems that most visitors never discover. If history is your thing, we can dive into Royal London, Roman London, Medieval London, or the dramatic stories of Winston Churchill and WWII. Music fans can explore Beatles London, and movie lovers often enjoy spotting famous filming locations along the way. But some of Britain’s most unforgettable places are just outside the city. Many of my guests love day trips to destinations such as: • Windsor Castle – the oldest occupied castle in the world • Stonehenge – the mysterious prehistoric monument older than the pyramids • Bath – elegant Georgian architecture and Roman heritage • Oxford – the famous university city of dreaming spires • Cotswolds – picture-perfect villages and classic English countryside These trips are ideal if you want to see “the real England” beyond the city — beautiful landscapes, charming towns, and incredible history. ⸻ Shore Excursions, Layovers & Private Touring If you’re arriving by cruise ship, flying in for a layover, or staying in London for a limited time, I can collect you directly from the airport, port, or hotel and design a seamless private tour that fits your schedule perfectly. No rushing, no confusion, and no crowded buses — just your own comfortable London taxi and a guide who handles everything. ⸻ A Bit About Me I’m now a proud grandad — and my greatest achievement in life is my four children, my granddaughter, my grandson, and my wonderfully patient wife. Second only to family, I genuinely love meeting people from around the world and helping them experience Britain in a way that feels relaxed, welcoming, and personal. My tours are always informative, but never stuffy. If we’re going to spend the day together, we might as well have a laugh along the way. ⸻ Travel in Comfort I drive the latest London Taxi, seating up to six passengers comfortably (three facing forward, three facing backward), fully air-conditioned and equipped with Wi-Fi — perfect for families, couples, or small groups wanting a private experience.

From London I will take you to the majestic sprawling Palace and Gardens of Henry VIII's Hampton Court, here we will spend time at the Palace, which is adjacent to the river Thames, exploring the rich royal history that this beautiful example of Tudor opulence has to offer. After Hampton Court we will take the short drive to Windsor Castle where I will take you on a tour of the castle grounds, taking in the state apartments and having a visit in St Georges Chapel, the resting place of past kings and queens while being able to appreiciate the stunning gothic architecture, described as one of the finest displays of Gothic architecture today.
** THIS TOUR CAN NOT OPERATE ON MONDAY, TUESDAY OR WEDNESDAY** This tour can be accommodated from any central London hotel or a layover from Heathrow airport. Hampton Court Palace opens its doors at 10am, after spending a couple of hours here will take the short drive to Windsor. On arrival at Windsor we will have a lunch stop before heading in to the castle for approx. 2pm. Leaving Windsor around 5pm to head back to London or to drop you back at Heathrow airport to carry on with your vacation.
Tell your guide which places matter to you, skip what doesn't, and tailor the experience for your group's needs. Not finding what you want? Message your guide to build something unique.
The latest, most modern comfortable Taxi that London has on the market. It seats 6 people, 3 facing forwards , 3 facing backwards, fully air conditioned. For layover tours of 6 people with more than 3 large suitcases I can make arrangements for another vehicle that would accommodate 6 people and more luggage.
