Fun-packed tours with yours truly! I'm an official City Of London Badge Guide. I give regular indoor tours of the National Gallery, National Portrait Gallery, British Museum and Churchill War Rooms. Outdoors, I give regular city highlights tours, passing must-see sites such as St Paul's Cathedral, the Tower of London, Tower Bridge, Buckingham Palace, the London Eye and the Houses of Parliament in Westminster. I also give bespoke tours throughout London for private clients. I have taken birthday groups on fun-packed historical tours, led staff excursions for the management of Bloomberg and Generali, and even got hired as the expert history guide for a Hollywood actor during his stay in London. I am also a prolific writer and a cheeky magician! - Official City of London Green Badge Guide - Member of the Institute of Tour Guiding - First Class Honours in Social Anthropology I do not drive. London is a great city to explore by tube, bus and on foot, but if for whatever reason you require a guide with a vehicle then please message elsewhere.

Do you want to enjoy one of the world's most fascinating collections of historic artefacts with a guide that knows every secret nook and cranny of the building? Then join me! I specialise in bringing the British Museum to life. By the time you leave, I hope that you feel like you've been on the most amazing whirlwind tour celebrating human history. An experience that is both fun and enlightening. To keep things simple, I separate the tour into two parts. In part one we explore the British section of the museum, in part two we explore the objects "acquired" from around the world. Feel free to ask any questions as we go along. I graduated university with a degree in Social Anthropology, so the history of human culture is a lifelong fascination to me. Despite my academic credentials, what matters most to me is that the tour is family friendly - whatever your age, whatever your interests, this is a tour for everyone!
British objects include: - The iconic double edged Viking sword. - The largest hoard of medieval gold coins. - The special pavement made for a medieval Queen. - The Lewis Chessmen featured in Harry Potter. - The startling helmet of a warrior king (Sutton Hoo). Worldwide objects include: - The eerie bust of Ramesses the Great. - The gigantic Assyrian winged bulls. - The looted Benin Bronzes. - The Parthenon Marbles taken by Lord Elgin. - The Rosetta Stone.
Tell your guide which places matter to you, skip what doesn't, and tailor the experience for your group's needs. Not finding what you want? Message your guide to build something unique.
The British Museum nowadays is wheelchair user friendly, and also contains spots where we can sit for breaks along the way.
