I was born and raised in Istanbul (Asian Side) -Kadikoy- , which is known as Ancient Khalkedon right across the waters of Byzantine Constantinople. (European Side of Modern Day Istanbul) My family is originally from Eastern Turkey, a town called Erzincan where Epic River Euphrates is born, I've completed my military service in a small town called Zile, northeast of Cappadocia, where the famous historical phrase was uttered by Julius Caesar as : "Veni, Vidi, Vici". "I came, I saw and I conquered". In a nutshell I was lucky enough to discover and feel the rich history, cultural diversity of this amazing country and meet people from all around Turkey observing their lives since I was very young. I've always wanted to share this diverse culture and history with others. So Being a tour guide (or a theater actor) was my childhood dream and I decided to study tourism since high school all the way through my college education. I've completed a 4 year Travel Administration and Guiding program and toured 40 days cross country finally acquiring my License as an Official Tour Guide in Turkey. I have worked in almost every field of tourism industry for the last 17 years. I've prepared and organized hundreds of custom travel itineraries and conducted dozens of tours as a Tour Guide Travel for English speaking Travelers who visited Turkey in the last decade. The longest itinerary I've prepared, organized and conducted was a 36 day Trip all around Turkey including Istanbul and its vicinity, Black Sea Coast, Southeastern Turkey (Syrian Border), Central Turkey (Cappadocia), Mediterranean(Southern Coast) and the Aegean (Western Coast) of Turkey. I always promise a warm smile, good information with a narrative context, and a good sense of humor. My approach is to be an hospitable traveling buddy rather than just a tour guide. For my guests to understand the prehistoric and Greco-Roman history of our country, I enhance the content of my tours with historical timeline maps, 3D rendered reconstruction videos of the sites.
