Walk through the heart of the ancient City of Ephesus with your local guide

Tugba provided a great tour of Ephesus. She provided a good overview of Turkey (since we were first time visitors to Turkey), and provided good lessons on the history of Ephesus, how it was developed, and all of the ancient ruins. She also gave us a tour of the house of the Virgin Mary.

What a fantastic time we had with Tugba. As soon as we met at the dock we gelled completely. She made our tour of the Virgin Mary’s house and Ephesus so interesting and was a “book” full of knowledge. She was so informative and spent so much time explaining everything to us. We also enjoyed the lunch stop we had and the restaurant she took us to was charming with the peacocks strutting around. I also must give a shout out to the driver who was charming. Would definitely recommend

Tugba was awesome! This tour was our second “Tours by Locals” during our trip to Greece. Tugba and our driver were waiting for us. This is reassuring when you are traveling in a foreign country. She made us feel like we have known each other for years! She is a great narrator. Very knowledgeable. It was extremely hot that day and she was concerned we were doing ok. Ephesus was amazing as was the house of the Virgin Mary. She arranged to have lunch at a wonderful outdoor place. Our family LOVED the experience we had there. It was something we never would have at home:). The carpet demonstration was a wonderful educational experience for our family. Tugba made this a fun excursion for all of us. We highly recommend requesting Tugba if you are planning a trip that includes Ephesus.

Tugba was fantastic. She was very attentive to our specific preferences and requests. Our tour of Ephesus was enjoyed by all- teenage grandkids to grandparents. The lunch arranged was in a lovely setting and delicious. The van transportation for 8 of us was perfect.

My husband and I spent an exciting day with Tugba exploring Ephesus, The House of the Virgin Mary and the Selcuk Castle. She was full of information, interesting stories and lots of energy. We appreciated her enthusiasm and willingness to answer all of our questions. We learned so much from her and enjoyed her company over a delicious lunch as well as our time viewing the historic sites.
