Best of Ephesus Private Tour

Our tour of Ephesus for 25 family members with Erkan was excellent. She fully exceeded our expectations of what this tour would be. From the moment we first met at the port, she made sure that we got to see everything we came to see and more! With a group of 25, keeping everyone engaged and on track is no small task, but she handled it effortlessly. She was organized, attentive, and made sure the entire group felt taken care of throughout the day. Our entire group absolutely loved our day with Erkan. She made our visit to Ephesus truly memorable, and we couldn’t recommend her more!

Erkan was well organized and extremely flexible with our itinerary. We only had a short time in Turkey and she helped us fit in as many things as possible. We even had our following plans change and she was very flexible and patient and she helped us figure out how to go where we needed to next in Kusadasi She's wearing a fantastic ando professional guide. Erkan (Zeynep) was absolutely amazing! She organized our tour spectacularly and made learning about Turkey and the sites we visited quite enjoyable and our tour proceeded flawlessly. We saw St John’s basilica and the house of The Virgin Mary in addition to the archeological site of Ephesus. She took us to see how Turkish rugs and pottery are made and also personalized the tour to hit some of the other areas we were interested in such as where to buy Turkish coffee and Turkish sweets. We highly recommend Tour by locals in Turkey and, in particular, having Erkan Z as your tour guide. You will not be disappointed.

Zaynep was an excellent guide. She had gone back through our messages and knew what was important to us, my kids ages, etc. It was probably the most personalized of the tours we had on our overall trip. She created an itinerary to hit the highlights we most wanted to see first, and even added a weaving demonstration and excellent farm to table lunch. It was very hot, but she did a nice job balancing the time we could handle the heat with the key sites to see. She gave us recommendations on places to shop after, but I don't feel like we got good deals so I'd be cautious of that (our fault not hers). That was not part of the tour though - her tour was excellent and she was incredibly personable.

In late June of 2026, our family group of 11 took the Best of Ephesus Private Tour (CMVCZZ) with Erkan Z. She was excellent. She communicated well and geared the tour with what we wanted. Her directions regarding the meeting point ( we were on a cruise ship) was spot on and on time. A car seat was requested and she came through. The weather was hot, but she knew where the shade was to stop and talk to us. Her explanations were excellent before the visits, during the visits, and after the visits. Her accent was beautiful and her English was easy to understand. She chose a very nice restaurant for lunch. The van and driver that she chose were excellent as well. We strongly recommend using Erkan as a great guide.
