Shore Excursions Ephesus and Turkish Village Full-day Tour

This was our third visit to ancient Ephesus, but it was by far our most memorable and enjoyable experience. On our previous visits, we had always taken cruise ship excursions. Choosing a private tour with Zeynep instead of booking another large group tour was one of the best decisions we made during our trip. Zeynep met us promptly at the cruise port, and from the moment we began our drive, she made us feel completely welcome and comfortable. Along the way, she shared a wealth of fascinating information about Turkish history, culture, and local customs. Her knowledge, enthusiasm, and ability to explain the history in an engaging way added tremendous depth to everything we saw. Even though we had visited Ephesus twice before, Zeynep showed us details we had previously missed and gave us an entirely new appreciation for this extraordinary ancient city. She brought the ruins to life with compelling stories and historical context while allowing us to explore at a comfortable, unhurried pace. The personal attention and flexibility of a private tour made the experience far superior to our previous cruise ship excursions. Our group of 6 spent the day with Zey exploring Ephesus. It was a great day, and we learned so much about the area, the history and the culture. The shops we stopped at were fantastic (Turkish delight, wow!) as well as a remarkable spot for lunch. Highly recommend!

My wife and I had such a great time exploring all the sites in Ephesus Turkey! Zey had a great personality and her knowledge couldn't be better. I learned so much from her, and she took a genuine interest in our culture as well. Zey also took us to a great Place for lunch in which we got to sample the local cuisine. Tours by local is my new found "go to" when traveling abroad! We were on a cruise and these tours were less expensive than the cruise ship excursions. And btw, these tours are PRIVATE.

Zeynep was excellent to work with and a lot of fun in the 4 days we spent with her. She is very personable which is what we prefer and we are happy to now call her a friend, not just a guide. We changed our plans a few times after the initial booking and she was happy to accommodate. Would highly recommend Zeynep.

Our Ephesus explorations were among the most enjoyable of our trip and Zeynap was an excellent guide. Her enthusiasm and depth of knowledge helped us to absorb the incredible history and sophistication of the cultures that lived in this region. We had a wonderful lunch, learned about silk production for rugs, and did some retail therapy at a leather store. She was accommodating to our interests and mobility, which made our explorations truly pleasurable.
