Highlights Of Ephesus - Private Full Day shore excursion

In your life, you're maybe going to explore one or two of only a few ancient cities that are on the global list of UNESCO. Ephesus is one of those cities. Here, you'll be able to see heritage of both empires, Roman and Greek, and the fact that they're all so well preserved is one of the most important reasons for many people to visit this fascinating city everyday. Whilst we walk through it, I'll try giving you examples and stories from Ephesians' life to help you "go back in time" and imagine how the life here in Ephesus was. You'll also see the House of Virgin Mary, where she spent her last days. Today this beautiful place serves as a church. Not to mention, we'll visit the Temple of Artemis, one of the seven wonders of the ancient world. In addition to this; the history, the myths, the gossip and stories people of Asia Minor and today's Turkey have lived past. We'll go through the highlights of these amazing destinations, oh and we'll take some (a lot) great pictures so you can remember it all later!

-The tour will begin with us meeting in front of the Kusadasi port passenger Terminal or in your hotel in the Kusadasi area. -Afterwards we'll drive to the town of Selçuk, where all the destinations of this tour are located. -Our first stop will be a visit to EPHESUS, one of the best-preserved ancient cities in the world. In Ephesus we will see "buildings" such as (but not limited to): ·AGORAS ·ODEON ·Celsus Library ·Great Theatre of Ephesus ·Baths ·Fountains ·Hadrian and Domitianus Temples -Our next visit will be in the Temple of Artemis. -After visiting the temple, you'll have the option to enjoy lunch at a recommended or selected venue, at your discretion. -Then we will visit the shrine of The Virgin Mary where she spent her last days. -At last, we'll drive back to the original pick up point in Kusadasi.
