Hello! I'm glad you're here. My name is Carlos, and I am a native of Toledo, born and raised in the city. I have been working as an official city guide since 2008 as a full-time activity. I studied at the Toledo School of Arts, specializing in Damascening, the art of inlaying gold and silver into steel to produce intricate patterns, a craft that has been in the city for centuries and is one of Toledo's hallmarks. After finishing my studies, I lived in Japan working as a craftsman for five years. I learned Japanese, which led me to study for a degree in Tourism and dedicate myself to the profession of guiding. Since 2008 and until now, I have worked as an official guide in Madrid, Barcelona, and especially in Toledo, my hometown, the one I love and the one I want you to enjoy with me. Because of my artistic training and my experience in the field of tourism, but above all because of my deep knowledge of my city, I think I can be the ideal choice to accompany you in your visit to Toledo, one of the most beautiful and interesting places in Spain. I am flexible and willing to adapt any tour to meet your specific needs or requests, and by the way, I love having children join my tours. It would be a pleasure and a true honor to be your guide and share my passion with you. I look forward to hearing from you soon! Warmest regards, Carlos -Official Licensed Tour Guide in Toledo and Region -Official Licensed Tour Guide in Barcelona and Region -Degree in Tourism -Graduated from the School of Arts and Crafts in Toledo I am not a driver. I can accompany you in your vehicle or I can arrange for a separate car and driver.

Toledo is an incredible city, former capital of Spain until 1561. Its historic complex was declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1986, the place where Muslims, Jews and Christians lived together, with a panoramic view that has barely changed since the 16th century. It's also where El Greco lived much of his life and left his best legacy as an artist. A city with ancient traditions and crafts, travelling to Toledo is step back in time. There's so much to see that planning a visit can be complicated, so let me help you see and enjoy your visit much more. Besides being a local, having a degree in Tourism and 15 years of working as an official guide, I also have experience in the art sector, having worked as an artisan for 10 years in the city. I think this can be an unbeatable combination to make your day in Toledo a unique and unforgettable experience, ideal for those who come to the city for the first time but want to take advantage of their time and not miss anything important.
