Two Half Day Walking Tours in Barcelona

Our two half day tours with Tano were a wonderful introduction to both the old city and the modern architectural wonders of Barcelona. Tano was kind, informative and engaging, even for my 3 teenagers. Having a certified local guide made getting around and in and out of attractions a breeze. He was gernous with his time and expertise and helped us prioritize things for the rest of our visit. We would highly recommend a tour with Tano!

Our 2-half day tours in Barcelona with Cayetano were fabulous. While some guides drone on on with memorized robotic speeches, Cayetano made the history and people of Barcelona come alive with fascinating stories that you don't hear about in history books. I loved the way he could navigate around the crowds to make the most of our time. This was really apparent at the Sagrada Familia where the entrance line was enormous. Cayetano whispered to the guard, the rope opened, and we went directly to the front of line. I felt like royalty. Cayetano is a wizard with an iPhone camera. He knows the best places to take the best photos. Noteworthy, were some amazing shots he took in the Sagrada Familia. His tour defined our stay, and I would not want to experience Barcelona any other way.

We had the pleasure of Cayetano’s company on two half-day excursions in Barcelona. On our first day with him, we spent about four hours in the Gothic quarter. On the second day, he took us around the city on a brilliantly-planned survey of some of Antoni Gaudí’s major works. His selection of venues and his impressive well of knowledge made our time in Barcelona thoroughly enjoyable.

Cayetano is a consummate professional who generously shared his vast expertise and knowledge of Barcelona over the course of two half day walking tours. The first morning we explored the history and beauty of the Gothic Quarter and the second afternoon we focused on Gaudi's architecture. Tano was responsive to our questions, particular interests, and walking pace. His warmth and friendliness made made us feel at home in a new city. We will wholeheartedly recommend him to anyone who is headed to Barcelona.

His knowledge of Barcelona and its history is very impressive, and he is well travelled around the world, and can put history, art, culture, and politics, in excellent context among each other.
