Our second tour with José was an outstanding introduction to Gaudí and his work. José clearly has a deep knowledge of both the architecture and the historical context, but what impressed us most was his ability to explain Gaudí’s ideas in a way that was engaging, accessible and memorable. By the end of the tour we felt we genuinely understood not only the buildings themselves, but also why Gaudí was such an original and important figure. The visit to the Sagrada Família was particularly impressive and José managed the logistics seamlessly throughout the morning. Park Güell was another highlight and his explanations there greatly enhanced the experience. Having already toured the city with him previously, this second tour complemented the first perfectly and added a much deeper understanding of Barcelona’s artistic identity. We would highly recommend José to anyone wanting a high-quality private guide in Barcelona.
