Hello! Nice to meet you:) I am Montse and I'm a licensed local guide in Barcelona and Catalunya. I am a graduate in Audiovisual Communication and I also have a Master in script writing. For many years I have been combining Tourism work with the performing arts, cinema and theatre . This two areas which would appear to be unconnected have actually made me the kind of guide I am. You will be able to discover the city as if you were watching a film. We can include visual poetry and narrative in the way we walk around the city! Fall in love with Barcelona and Catalonia! I can show you the popular venus, the hidden gems and the quiet places where we locals go. On foot, by bike or with our own driver. I am interested in art, history and culture in general and I am constantly updating. Tell me what interests you and I can design a tailored made tour which will give you a truly great experience. -Official Guide License, issued by the Catalan Government. That means I can explain inside the monuments and skip the line in most of the monuments. -Experience as a private guide since 2014 -Experience coordinating tours and logistics for international football academies and school groups, including children and teenagers since 2017. -Official Guide License, issued by the Balearic Islands Government -Bachelor's Degree in Audiovisual Communication, University Pompeu Fabra -MA in Screenwriting, University of Barcelona -Semester in Communication Studies in Roskilde University, Denmark -Member of AGUICAT (Professional licensed tour guides Association of Catalonia) -Performing arts and singing courses. -First-aid course training and experience as a lifeguard. I do not drive while I am guiding. We can use public transports, taxis or a private car with a driver upon request.

Everybody has heard of the Sagrada Familia — Barcelona’s must-see landmark. But have you ever heard of Hospital de Sant Pau? Just a 10-minute walk apart, these two remarkable buildings offer a unique cultural experience. Visiting a hospital as a sightseeing attraction may sound unusual, but this is something you’ll only find in Barcelona. Hospital de Sant Pau is a true hidden gem of Modernisme architecture. Built in the early 20th century, it was designed with the belief that beauty, light, and nature could help people heal. The result is a space that feels more like a palace than a hospital. We then continue to the awe-inspiring Sagrada Familia, Gaudí’s unfinished masterpiece. Inside, the vibrant light, colors, intricate details, and rich symbolism create an unforgettable atmosphere. This is an essential experience in Barcelona. The Sagrada Familia isn’t just something you see — it’s something you feel.
We will start by visiting Sant Pau Hospital. Then we will head to Sagrada Familia walking through Avinguda Gaudí, a pedestrian and charming street plenty of coffee places and bakeries where we can stop for a break to get energy right before entering to Sagrada Familia.
Tell your guide which places matter to you, skip what doesn't, and tailor the experience for your group's needs. Not finding what you want? Message your guide to build something unique.
We will walk from one site to the other. It is only 10 minutes.
